Meditation is magic! With meditation comes connection, expansion and deep peace but it is a practise and can be challenging. In this course we will explore different types and styles of meditation which you will be encouraged to practice at home each week to really get a feel for each of them, so by the end of the course you should be armed with a practice and meditation schedule that suits you and your personality and lifestyle. Anyone can learn to meditate and don’t worry, you don’t have to sit rigidly in a lotus posture – there are many options, including sitting on a chair.
Meditation has been the subject of much scientific research over recent years and the results have been overwhelmingly positive-it improves breathing and heart rate, strengthens immunity and energy levels, reduces blood pressure and inflammatory disorders, slows degenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s, to name but a few health benefits.
